Partnering with the incredible team at Clean Slate RDU, I embarked on a journey to transform this "dumpy suburban home" into a modern, stylish sanctuary. The goal wasn't just renovation—it was transformation. I wanted bold color, thoughtful design, natural materials, and spaces that could accommodate both my creative pursuits and my beloved pets. Dramatic Entry Transformation
The entry and staircase are the first impression of any home. We completely reimagined this space, replacing traditional wood railings with sleek black metal cable railings, adding warm wood accents on the stairs, and creating architectural interest with modern lighting and a bold design statement.
Kitchen Revolution
The kitchen went from a safe, standard white-and-gray builder setup to a dramatic, sophisticated space featuring matte black cabinets, walnut wood accents, under-cabinet lighting, and a stunning show-stopping arched doorway that connects to the rest of the home. This is where form truly meets function.

What was once a bland, forgettable dining space is now a jewel-toned sanctuary. The transformation features the signature sage green walls with coordinating painted ceiling, a striking arched threshold, and carefully curated lighting that creates ambiance while highlighting the space's architectural features.
